I finally got a little smarter and decided to wait after the Mid Week Challenge to do my posts for the week. It was “hard.” I am always so anxious to share my weekly sketch card.
This week I got a box of 55 done, in the mail, on their way to make some smiles.
Challenge #1 – Weekly Sketch Challenge – OWH Sketch #165
Recipe: DSP from stash, Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler CS; Well Scripted (retired SU) stamp set, Cherry Cobbler Ink, SU embossing folders, SU lace edge punch, SU dotted Cherry Cobbler ribbon, and Marvy Brand edge punch system (heart lace). Since the card is very “Valentiny,” I will save it as an example for my Valentine cards, which will be here before I know it (on OWH Schedule).
Challenge #2 – Mid Week Throwdown
The MWT this week was to use stripes on our cards. I just love this diagonal striped DS from SU from the Sycamore Street Collection. Card Stocks used were Tangerine Tango, Night of Navy and Whisper White. The sentiment is from Vintage Verses stamp set stamped with Night of Navy ink. The heart were punched using a small star SU punch. The ribbon “bomb” was from my stash. All products used are SU.
The Rest of the Box
This sweet little cupcake card is great for gals young and old. The cupcake punch is from SU. All of the other products used were from my SU stash.
This bouquet card is made with hand stamped and then fussy cut flowers from the “Flower Fest” stamp set, the jar is from the “Perfectly Preserved” stamp set. The DSP is “Nursery Nest.” The doilies were purchased from the SU Clearance Rack.
This card was made with left over flowers from the previous project.
That is all for this week. Time to clean up the craft room to make a couple of Easter goodie bags for the G-kids.
